Apple is known for its amazing products that shape the future of consumer technology. In 2024, the Cupertino-based tech giant could launch several new devices to delight its ever-growing consumer base and challenge its competitors.

Based on reports from trustworthy industry insiders and leakers, I have put together a list of upcoming Apple products expected to launch in 2024.

What new Apple products are coming in 2024?

The new iPhone 16 models and Apple Watch series will get a customary release in September 2024. Apart from that, there are a few other devices gathering pace in the rumor mill. Take a look.

1. iPhone 16 lineup

iPhone 16 lineup

Just like every year, the iPhone is one of the most user-anticipated Apple devices in 2024. This year’s iPhone 16 lineup could feature larger ‘Pro’ models with new chipsets and camera upgrades.

According to a MacRumors report, there’s a possibility of a new Capture button that would accompany the Action button introduced with 15 Pro models. The new button would probably be located on the bottom right side of the device, allowing users to capture landscape photos and videos. Additionally, it could even be touch-sensitive, letting you zoom in or out with a simple swipe.

Since Apple is aiming to improve the photography-related features with the iPhone 16 Series, we can also expect to see an improved 48-megapixel Ultra Wide lens with better low light performance. Moreover, the iPhone 16 Pro Max could feature a 300mm super-telephoto periscope camera for significantly better optical zoom and portrait photography capabilities.

While most major changes would be limited to the Pro models, we can still expect the lower-tier models to get some significant improvements. For example, the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus could have a vertical camera layout instead of a diagonal one and could also let you capture Spatial Videos.

As far as the internals are concerned, the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max would feature a brand new A18 Pro chipset. This new chip would be capable enough to run demanding machine learnig tasks to power new AI features expected to launch with iOS 18. However, the non-pro models are expected to get last year’s A17 series chips.

2. Apple Watch X and Ultra 3

Apple could unveil a slew of new Apple Watch models in 2024. This would include the Apple Watch Series X, Apple Watch SE, and Apple Watch Ultra 3. While we expect the Apple Watch Series X and Apple Watch SE to feature a major design overhaul, the Ultra 3 would be more of a nominal upgrade.

Mark Gurman believes that the Apple Watch X would replace the existing band attachment mechanism with a magnetic one. This new mechanism would allow users to swap bands with ease. Additionally, Apple could also add a couple of new health features to detect hypertension and sleep apnea.

As far as the other two models are concerned, the Apple Wach Ultra 3 could finally become available in a darker color and borrow health features from the Series X. Meanwhile, now deleted reports from Omdia suggest that the Apple Watch SE could borrow the design from Apple Watch Series 9. They even say that it may get the S9 SiP and Apple Watch Series 4’s ECG feature.

3. Redesigned iPhone SE

iphone-se-4

2024 is expected to be the year Apple could launch a new iPhone SE since it hasn’t been updated for almost two years. As per industry insiders and leakers, this time around, the iPhone SE could receive a major redesign with a flat frame. Also, the thick bezels and Home Button will end their run.

The iPhone SE 4 will most probably arrive with a 6.1-inch OLED display with a notch, which would make it the first iPhone SE to support Face ID. However, in order to keep costs low, the new model will only feature a single camera.

Fortunately, to make its budget offering a compelling option for consumers, Apple is said to equip the iPhone SE 4 with a USB-C port, possibly along with the new Action button, just like the flagship iPhone models. Further, it would also feature a newer chipset along with Apple’s custom 4nm 5G modem.

4. M3 Mac mini

The M3 series of Apple Silicon chips have been available since the end of October 2023 in newer MacBook Pros. However, it’s in 2024 that we might finally get to see the M3 chips make their way to Apple’s desktop-class Mac mini, which hasn’t received any upgrade since January 2023.

As per a report by The Verge, Apple is already working on the next-generation Mac mini, which will become available in early 2024. Based on the hardware specifications found in third-party developer logs, one of the new Mac mini models will likely feature an 8-core CPU, a 10-core GPU, and 24GB of RAM.

5. New HomePod with a touchscreen display

New HomePod with a touchscreen display

The HomePod was first released by Apple in February 2018, with the HomePod mini following in November 2020. While Apple discontinued the original HomePod in March 2021, an updated version of the speaker was released in January 2023, suggesting that Apple has more plans for the smart speaker market.

In 2024, Apple could finally release a HomePod with a display to take on existing smart home devices from Google and Amazon. According to reports from Ming-Chi Kuo, the new HomePod would feature a 7-inch display.

Not only that, earlier reports from Mark Gurman have also suggested that Apple is working on a high-end speaker with a touch screen, which could possibly combine an Apple TV set-top box with a camera for video calling.

To add fuel to the fire, code seen by 9to5Mac in tvOS 17.4 beta 3 reveals the existence of a new device capable of running tvOS. This device, identified as “Z314,” seems to be powered by an A15 Bionic chip.

The code also reveals that prototype and production versions of this device are already under test, suggesting that the new HomePod has reached an advanced stage of development.

6. Next-gen AirPods and AirPods Max

airpods-2024-lineup

According to Mark Gurman, Apple plans to bring a major overhaul to the Airpods lineup in 2024. This would include new non-pro Airpods (4th generation) and AirPods Max (2nd generation), which haven’t been abandoned by Apple since 2021 and 2020, respectively.

Apple’s highest-end audio product, the AirPods Max, will include a USB-C port instead of a Lightning port. Moreover, we might also get to see AirPods Max in new colors. Besides that, Apple would replace the H1 audio processor with an upgraded H3 audio processor.

This would allow the AirPods Max to offer better noise cancellation along with support for advanced features like Conversation Awareness, Adaptive Audio, and Personalized Volume.

As far as the non-pro AirPods are concerned, we may get to see two new models. The higher-end model would offer Active Noise Cancellation, but the lower-end model might skip this feature to keep the prices in check. Nevertheless, both the non-pro AirPods will look like a blend of the AirPods (3rd generation) and AirPods Pro (2nd generation) but with shorter stems.

Apple products released so far in 2024

We are only a couple of months into 2024, and Apple has released Tim Cook’s legacy device – the Apple Vision Pro, and the biggest iPad update ever!

Here’s a breakdown of everything Apple has already rolled out in 2024.

1. Brand-new M2 iPad Air and M4 iPad Pro

M2 ipad air

As anticipated, Apple unveiled new iPads in May. This includes a new iPad Air and iPad Pro along with Apple Pencil Pro and a redesigned Magic Keyboard.

The 2024 iPad Air now comes in 13-inch and 11-inch sizes. The most notable upgrade is the inclusion of the M2 chip, which offers up to 50 percent better performance than the M1 iPad Air. The iPad Air also boasts a 12MP landscape front camera with support for Centre Stage and dual landscape stereo speakers with Spatial Audio.

The base model of iPad Air now offers a generous 128GB of storage, with the 11-inch and 13-inch models priced at $599 and $799, respectively. Moreover, for those who need additional storage, Apple has introduced new 512GB and 1TB options.

As far as the iPad Pro is concerned, Apple has several new features in store for you. In terms of design, Apple has made the new iPad Pro significantly thinner and lighter, moving the front camera to the landscape position. Meanwhile, the rear camera module now includes a LiDAR sensor and dual-tone flash.

M4 ipad pro

The improvements don’t stop here. Apple has equipped the new iPad Pro with the M4 chip, which offers a 10-core CPU, 10-core GPU, 16-core Neural engine, and a dedicated Display engine.

Additionally, the 2024 iPad Pro features an OLED display with support for up to 1600 nits of peak brightness and a better cooling system for sustained performance under heavy workloads.

The base iPad Pro now offers 256GB of storage, with the 11-inch model starting at $999 and the 13-inch model starting at $1299.

The Apple Pencil Pro has a pressure sensor that can be used to access a new tool pallet, along with a Taptic Engine, built-in gyroscope, and find my integration.

Meanwhile, the Magic Keyboard is significantly lighter and features a dedicated Function row with a slightly larger trackpad and palm rest.

On the other hand, the new Apple Pencil Pro is priced at just $129, and the redesigned Magic Keyboard is priced at $299 for the 11-inch model and $349 for the 13-inch model.

3. M3 MacBook Air (13- and 15-inch)

M3 MacBook Air 2024

As anticipated, Apple refreshed the 13″ and 15″ MacBook Air with the M3 versions in 2024, finally phasing out the M1 model released in 2020. While we didn’t see any new changes to the design of the entry-level Macs, the new models boast almost 20 percent and 35 percent better CPU performance than the M2 and M1 models, respectively.

The base M3 MacBook Air, just like last year’s model, offers an 8-core CPU and GPU, 8GB of Unified Memory, and 256GB of storage. However, you can still configure the machines with a 10-core GPU, up to 2TB of storage, and 24 GB of unified memory.

While the battery life is still rated to be the same as last year, the new models now support up to two external displays and come with Wi-Fi 6E, which offers download speeds up to twice as fast as the previous generation. Apart from that, Apple has also introduced a new Anodization seal for the Midnight finish, which will help reduce smudges and fingerprints.

4. Apple Vision Pro

Apple vision pro

Apple has gone completely overboard with its first mixed-reality headset. It offers an ultra-premium design with equally high-end specs, including an array of 12 cameras and 5 sensors, which feed their data to the M2 and R1 chipsets to create spatial experiences with its two high-resolution displays.

As for its software and user interface, the Apple Vision Pro runs on a brand-new spatial operating system dubbed visionOS. It offers a truly remarkable gesture and voice-based user interface, which is further enhanced by the headset’s eye-tracking sensors that can detect real-time eye movement and facilitate a new authentication system like Optic ID.

Apple Vision Pro became available in February at a starting price of $3499. However, If you want to know more about the headset’s hardware and its innovative features, check out our detailed article on Apple Vision Pro.

If you’ve experienced reminders and events randomly appearing in your iPhone’s Calendar app, you’re not alone. This is a common issue with many iPhone users wherein the user subscribes to a third-party calendar service unknowingly. This, in turn, results in the calendar being clogged with spam events. Thankfully, this is easy to resolve. Learn what the calendar virus is, how to remove it from your iPhone, and tips to stop this.

Where does iPhone get the calendar virus from?

Where does iPhone get the calendar virus from?

iPhone calendar spam is similar to phishing emails. Hackers create text messages, emails, web pages, and popups with links that look very similar to the original page.

Many users who visited the Soap2Day website faced a notorious issue where they encountered multiple pop-ups and redirects while browsing. These issues raised security concerns and created a sense of unease. If you’ve experienced such problems and are searching for a solution to remove the Soap2Day Virus, it is advisable to take immediate action to avoid any further harm.

When the user unknowingly clicks on these links, it takes them to the Calendar app. Even if you press back or decline the event, the iPhone’s default settings allow these hackers to still send spam calendar events.

Apple is partly at fault here since the company allows anyone, including the people not in your contacts, to send calendar invites to your iPhone. Since the user isn’t expecting spam links in the Calendar app, they might click on the link in the event, which (most probably) will lead them to a phishing page. These pages may contain hacking scripts and malware that could result in your personal information getting compromised.

How to remove calendar virus and spam events on iPhone

1. Delete spam events using the iPhone’s Calendar app

  1. Open the Calendar app on your iPhone.
    • You’ll see all events, including spam events. Note the color of the spam event invites.
    • In my case, the spam event is highlighted in purple.
  2. On the main page, tap the Calendars button at the bottom.
A list with all the calendars synced to your iPhone will show up.
  3. Look for the spam event’s color and tap the i button next to it.
  4. Scroll down and tap Delete Calendar to delete all spam events from your iPhone.
Note: If spam calendar events are displayed with more than one color, perform the steps for those colors.

2. Clear calendar virus from iPhone Settings

If you continue receiving spam events on your iPhone, you might need to unsubscribe from these events from your iPhone’s settings. Here’s how you can do it.

  1. Head over to iPhone Settings.
  2. Scroll down and select Calendar
  3. Next, select Accounts and tap Subscribed Calendars.

Go to Subscribed Calendars from iPhone Settings
  4. Select the calendar you did not subscribe to and tap Delete Account.

Clear calendar virus from iPhone Settings

I hope this guide helped you understand how to delete the Calendar virus from your iPhone and block it from appearing again. If you have some issues with the iPhone calendar not syncing with Outlook or any other iPhone calendar issues, let us know in the comments section below.

Gone are the days when cars were all about horsepower. Today’s car is made up of more electrical bits than mechanical ones. Companies like Tesla and Rimac have reinvented cars with futuristic technology. Until recently, even Apple was working on an autonomous car, alongside many products.

February 2024 Update: After working on the self-driving car for a decade, Apple has decided to end the project. If you’d like to learn more about the project’s history, please continue reading.

But is Apple actually making a car?

Apple Car rumors have been making rounds since 2015. Thanks to the sketchy rumors, Apple Car is on the verge of becoming an urban legend! Unlike other tech brands, Apple is cautious regarding product diversification.

Putting it into perspective, the Apple Car project is live and on track. Apple is developing the car under the Project Titan umbrella. The project reportedly ran into several hurdles and was close to being squashed.

Tim Cook hinted at Apple Car plans and drew a parallel with Tesla earlier this year. Furthermore, Apple has poached several veterans from the auto industry, including BMW’s Ulrich Kranz. The company is said to be testing self-driving software in and around California.

Apple Car: The story so far

In 2015 Apple was spotted testing an advanced-looking camera rig on a van. This sowed the seeds of doubt regarding the car project in people’s minds.

Soon enough, an Apple employee wrote to Business Insider confirming that they were working on a project. The email said that some Tesla employees were switching to Apple to work on Project Titan.

  • 2010 – A decade ago, Steve Jobs had shown interest in a prototype car built by an Industrial designer. Perhaps, Jobs had set his eye on redefining the automobile segment.
  • 2015 – The rumors about Apple Car set off with the van sighting. This is the first time people realized that the company could be working on cars. The same year Elon Musk took a dig at Apple and called Project Titan “Open Secret.”
  • 2017 – Apple CEO Tim Cook publicly revealed Apple’s work on autonomous systems. He called it “a core technology that we view as very important.” Furthermore, people spotted the company testing leased vehicles with autonomous systems on public roads.
  • 2021 – Earlier in 2021, rumors suggested that Apple is in talks with Korean automaker Hyundai and Kia Motors. It seems like Apple was upset after Hyundai revealed its deal. At this juncture, it is not clear whether talks with Hyundai will resume or not.

Interestingly people are already talking about antitrust concerns regarding Apple Car. The Project Titan has been scarred by frequent hiring and firing. It makes us wonder when Apple will unveil the self-driving.

Autonomous driving tech on Apple Car

SAE (Society of Automobile Engineers) classifies autonomous cars according to their capabilities. For instance, Tesla is a Level 2 autonomous vehicle. In other words, the driver needs to monitor the vehicle at all times and should be alert to take over.

Apple is rumored to be working on a fully-autonomous electric self-drive vehicle. The car will not require any inputs from the driver and is also expected to ditch the steering wheel and pedals. It sounds highly ambitious, and maybe this is why Apple Car is taking so much time in development. Apple is aiming to reach level 5 autonomous on its car.

This is how Apple Car could look like

There is no shortage of Apple Car concepts. As a company, Apple is fixated on functional design, and this is something we can see on every product. I presume the autonomous car will be no different.

Apple Car could look like a car straight from a sci-fi movie. The absence of steering and pedals will be a defining moment in the automobile industry. The company would adopt a minimalistic design language.

This is how Apple Car could look like in 2022

I can already imagine a giant touchscreen at the center. Since the car is fully autonomous, the touchscreen could double up as an entertainment hub. Furthermore, the automobile will be deeply integrated with the Apple ecosystem. Apple has already partnered with carmakers and announced a digital car key feature.

Most exciting Apple Car features

1. Level 5 Autonomous

The car will not require human attention at this level. The car will be designed to go anywhere similar to a human driver. Currently, Tesla, Waymo, and others are testing fully autonomous cars in various parts of the world.

2. Glass roof

Apple could make the panoramic sunroof look duh. Apple Car will reportedly arrive with a glass ceiling. It could also feature augmented reality projections.

3. Futuristic design

The self-driving car will likely feature wraparound glass. Design-wise it increases the visibility so that occupants can enjoy their surroundings without any obstructions.

Futuristic design of Apple Car

4. Wraparound light bar

A concept by Motortrend envisions a light bar or strip. It runs along the car’s periphery. It could feature integrations such as turn indicators, stop lights, and a dedicated signal for pedestrians or bicycles.

5. Wireless charging on a car

Yes, you heard it right! Apple Car could feature induction charging from below. Drivers will have to park overcharging grid. The car charges automatically, similar to wireless charging on iPhones.

6. Gull Wing door

Ingress and egress on Apple Car will be very easy. It will likely feature a gull-wing door that opens to the top instead of the side. The arrangement will offer better access to seat and storage spaces.

Gull Wing door of Apple Car

7. Superior EV technology

Apple’s self-driving car is likely to boast a better range and power than Tesla. The car could be based on Hyundai’s E-GMP battery-electric vehicle platform. Apple Car could offer more range than Tesla.

Who will manufacture Apple Car?

It is relatively easy for Apple to get the software bit right. As mentioned earlier, Apple will outsource manufacturing to a different company. The arrangement is similar to what Apple has with Foxconn and other iPhone suppliers.

Reports claim that Apple has asked battery manufacturers to set up a unit in the US. The company was keen on Kia as it already has a plant in Georgia. End of the day, Apple will stick to outsourcing manufacturing to traditional carmakers.

When will Apple Car be released?

Now, this is a Million, perhaps even a trillion-dollar question. The Project Titan has run into multiple roadblocks. Six years have elapsed since Apple first started working on an autonomous car. A recent report says Apple will likely achieve Level 5 autonomous status by 2025. The bottom line, the Apple Car will not be released any time soon.

How much will Apple Car cost?

None of the rumors or reports talk about Apple Car pricing. Guesstimates are that the self-driving car could cost anywhere between $40,000-$50,000. Apple is known for premium products, and we feel the Apple Car will be no different.

Apple Car vs. Tesla: Will it be a Tesla killer?

Over the past years, Tesla has established itself in the EV market. The Tesla Roadster was one of the first cars to feature advanced infotainment. Apart from being an electric vehicle, Tesla scored brownie points in the design and tech features.

Apple is working on a mono cell design that uses less space inside the battery pack. The new design will allow Apple to add more active material inside the battery. It can give Apple Car a longer range. Apple is exploring new battery tech called LFP (lithium-iron-phosphate). It is much safer than lithium-ion batteries as it generates less heat.

If Apple can achieve Level 5 or even Level 4 autonomous, it could be a big blow to Tesla. I feel Apple’s brand loyalty will come in handy, and as always, people could flock to buy a new Apple Car. All said and done, Tesla has years of headstart and is mass-producing rapidly. Apple Car will have to catch up and set up mass production facilities before that.

All the things wrong with the Apple Car project

Not everything is hunky-dory with the Apple Car project. Project Titan has witnessed a major organizational shuffle. The project has been facing a lot of challenges. It has also lost key personnel to rival companies.

Rumors suggested that Apple axed Project Titan in 2016. The company allegedly took the step after internal turmoil and other looming problems. In 2019 Apple downsized Project Titan. This meant it had to let go of more than 200 employees.

Apple is reportedly finding it hard to convince traditional carmakers. Automobile companies are worried they will be labeled as Foxconn of the car industry.

  • To claim the service program for some products, you need to ensure there is no physical damage to the product.

There’s no denying that Apple sets high standards to maintain the quality of its product. However, despite taking all the measures, some users might still get devices with manufacturing defects. To err is human, and not even giant brands are immune to that.

Thankfully, the fruit company is not rigid to accept its mistakes and will be ready to help you solve the issue. You’ll be able to claim this repair program three years from the date of purchase.

The iPhone 11 was widely criticized for using an LCD, and guess what? Devices manufactured between November 2019 and May 2020 might have an issue. The display might not respond to touches. Check Eligibility

7. iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus service program for no power issues

10. Keyboard service program for MacBook, Air, and Pro

While we all are enjoying the amazing keyboard on our MacBook, there was a time when many users had reported the MacBook keyboard not working. 11. Three-prong AC wall plug adapter recall program

Apple has often shocked the world with its products, but one product gave the customers an actual shock. Of course, I’m talking about the Apple Three-prong AC adapter available for the United Kingdom, Singapore, and Hong Kong markets.

This wall plug adapter shipped from 2003 to 2010 with certain Apple products and was sold separately. Thankfully, Apple realized the mistake in the design and announced the recall program 10 years after the initial release (smirk).

If you have this wall plug, you can visit the nearest Authorised Apple Service Provider or Contact Apple Support to exchange and get a free new wall plug adapter. This program can also be benefitted to users living in Continental Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Argentina, and Brazil

You can exchange this adapter according to your convenience for a new one, but I suggest you get the new one as soon as possible to avoid suffering electric shocks.

Check Eligibility

Besides the three-prong AC adapter, two-prong Apple AC wall plug adapters intended for use in Continental Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Argentina, and Brazil were also known to cause shocks if touched.

Check Eligibility

Check Eligibility

14. iPhone X display module replacement program for touch issues

iPhone X was a revolutionary device from Apple that completely changed the industry. While the device had created a buzz in the industry for its unique design and display, it had also given some people a bad experience, such as no response on touch or ghost touch.

The reason might be a component failure on the display module. If you are facing similar issues, you can easily replace the display module with an authorized service center free of cost.

Before submitting the device, make sure the device doesn’t have other cracks on display or internal component failures that might affect the process. You can claim this program for 3 years within the first sale of the unit.

Check Eligibility

15. Beats Pill XL speaker recall program

Apple also has a recall program for Beats products. Beats Pill XL speakers may overheat and pose a fire safety risk. It has been sold worldwide since January 2014 by Beats, Apple, and other retailers.

Instead of giving a replacement, the brand has offered to recall the product. If you have a Beats Pill XL Speaker, the brand has asked the users to stop using it and fill out a form to return it to Apple. In exchange, you’ll get an Apple Store credit or electronic payment of $325 or the approximate equivalent in local currency.

Once users are deemed eligible, Apple will send you a postage-paid box to return your Pill XL speaker. Once received, you will receive an Apple Store credit or electronic payment within 3 weeks.

Check Eligibility

Is Apple repair free?

The repair charges are based on the terms and conditions related to the repair programs. Sometimes, users will be required to pay small fees or even pay for the entire repair, out of which Apple may reimburse a particular amount dater to the users.

Does Apple return lost iPhones?

If you have subscribed to Apple Care+, You will get theft and loss protection, with which users will get a replacement when their iPhone gets lost.

Have peace of mind

Apple has always been famous for keeping high standards in quality, yet programs like these prove that no one can be completely perfect. Thankfully, even Apple knows the same and has ensured any customers who have received a product with issues in quality have the right to get it fixed.

Apart from these programs, what products do you think Apple should introduce its service program for? Let us know in the comments

Isn’t everything better when it’s on a bigger screen? Thankfully, most leading TV manufacturers incorporate AirPlay 2 support, allowing effortless content sharing and mirroring from your iPhone, iPad, and Mac to your TV. But is your TV AirPlay 2-compatible?

Can you seamlessly stream movies, home videos, photos, presentations, and more to your smart TV? And whether you want to check if your TV is AirPlay 2-compatible or check out options before buying a new one, this list can help you out.

However, first, let’s check out what fun things you can do with AirPlay.

How can AirPlay 2-supported TVs make things better?

AirPlay is Apple’s proprietary wireless standard that allows you to cast videos, photos, or music onto the TV. You can also mirror iPhone, iPad, or Mac screens to Apple TV and compatible smart TVs.

And with HomeKit integration, you can control the TV via Siri commands, Control Center, and even from the Lock Screen. Siri can also suggest shows/movies to watch depending upon your past preferences.

There’s more! AirPlay follows your device and can automatically switch TVs when you switch rooms. And syncs with other AirPlay 2–compatible speakers for a multi-room experience.

FAQs for AirPlay 2-enabled TVs

Q. How to get AirPlay 2 on my TV?

It’s pretty simple, connect your iPhone/iPad/Mac with the same Wi-Fi network as AirPlay 2-compatible TV or Apple TV. Play the content and tap the AirPlay icon.

Q. Can I use AirPlay with my old TV?

If your TV is not AirPlay 2-compatible, you can try the Apple TV app or third-party apps like AirScreen. Or you’ll have to invest in an Apple TV box.

Q. Do all smart TVs have AirPlay?

No, not all smart TVs offer built-in AirPlay support. You might have to download the Apple TV app or compatible screen mirroring apps.

Q. Does AirPlay lose quality?

It depends on your Wi-Fi speed and content playing. Though, AirPlay uses lossless compression and thus performs way better than Bluetooth.

Q. How do I improve AirPlay quality?

1. Bring router closer to improve Wi-Fi signal
2. Ensure TV’s firmware and device’s OS is updated
3. Turn off Bluetooth to eliminate chances of interference
4. Restart all devices to clear cache or other settings

Q. What is the difference between AirPlay and AirPlay 2?

AirPlay 2 is simply the upgraded version of AirPlay. And the main difference is that AirPlay 2 enables multi-room groups, i.e., you can play to multiple devices simultaneously.

Apple’s AirPlay support is steadily expanding and improving. And I am quite ecstatic about it as the feature makes screen mirroring or casting content a breeze.

Although I still feel that Apple needs to collaborate and bring more ease and compatibility to AirPlay and other related features. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do you think Apple needs to loosen a bit? Share your views in the comment section below.
